2019 Elections: Katsina PDP group appoints 34 LGAs coordinators for Atiku
As part of its strategies to win 2019 General elections, the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Katsina State has inaugurated working committee for Atiku “Change the Change for Progress” with over 4,000 Coordinators across the 34 local government areas of the state.
Under the chairmanship of the former Executive Secretary of Petroleum Trust Development Funds (PTDF), Engineer Muttaqha Rabe Darma, the Katsina State Chapter of the Atiku Change the Change for Progress named Alhaji Bello Ladan as State Chairman of the Chapter.
Speaking during the inauguration Ceremony at the Headquarters of the PDP in Katsina Metropolis, Engineer Rabe Darma named 34 Local Government Coordinators as Habu Halilu (Daura), Sani Adamu Yarima (Mai’adua), Abdul K Abdullahi (Zango), Audu Habu (Sandamu), Yasir Albashir (Baure), Jamilu Dogo Namaraye (Mashi), Isyaku Mustafa (Mani), Alfa Kayawa (Dutsi), Ahmed Haruna (Bindawa), Gali Ingawa (Ingawa), Sanusi Liman (Kusada) and Shehu Almu (Kankia).
Others are according to Engineer Darma, Babangida Lara (Katsina), Nasiru Yunusa (Jibia), Tukur Lawal (Kaita), Sada Qadda (Charanchi), Lawal Mai Fata (Rimi), Lawal Abdullahi (Batagarawa), Bishir Musa (Batsari), Zayyana Nasiru (Kurfi), Honourable Sani Audu (Danmusa), AbdulRashid Karoji (Dutsinma) and Abdullahi Sani (Safana).
Others includes Ibrahim Bin Salisu (Funtua), Umar Dahiru (Bakori), Ibrahim M Ibrahim (Musawa), Bishir Sani Matazu (Matazu), Aliyu Umar (Dandume), Sani Suleiman (Malumfashi), Musbahu Hassan (Danja), Anas Salisu (Kafur), Bishir Sani (Sabuwa), Abdurrashid Lawal (Kankara) and Honourable Yusuf (Faskari) Local Government area respectively.
Speakers at the occasion namely, Chairman of the PDP in the State, Alhaji Salisu Yusuf Majigiri the Deputy Gubernatorial Candidate, Former Chairman of the Party, Alhaji Maiwada Daudawa and Engineer, Muttaqha Rabe Darma reiterated the need for people in the State to vote for Atiku Abubakar in the 2019 General elections.
They accused All Progressives Congress (APC) Governments at state and Federal Levels of not doing anything particularly in the areas of security, poverty alleviation and Infrastructural development.
