Governor Masari commissions NOUN satellite campus in Kafur
The Katsina State Governor, Alhaji Aminu Bello Masari has on Monday commissioned the satellite campus of the National Open University (NOUN) in Masari town of Kafur Local Government Area, Katsina State.
The satellite campus was built by the Katsina State Government and handed over to the university to aide its operations.
Earlier, the Governor inspected work on the renovation, rehabilitation and upgrading of some educational and health projects in Malumfashi.
Governor Masari first inspected Galadima primary school where the 48 classrooms are being completely rehabilitated and renovated to provide conducive atmosphere of teaching and learning.
Alhaji Aminu Masari was conducted round the structures in the school by the commissioner of education, Alhaji Badamasi Lawal charanchi and the supervising Engineer, Muntari Sagir.
The Governor later inspected work on the upgrading of Asibitin Tsamiya, now being converted into comprehensive Health centre. Governor Masari was informed that Engineer Muntari Sagir Malumfashi was single handedly upgrading the structures in the old Asibitin Tsamiya.
Later, Governor Masari was at Asibitin kwandala or Galadima Abdullahi General Hospital where he inspected ongoing renovation and upgrading of all the structures in the hospital.
