The Katsina state Institute of Technology and Management  (KSITM) has begin online registration for the 2018/2019 Post-UTME screening exercise.

This was announced in a statement signed by the registrar of the Institute Ma’a Balarabe and made available to the institute’s website.

According to the statement, only applicants who scored 120 Jamb and above with 5 credits in their O’ Level are invited to register for the Post UTME exercise.

The statement and the procedure for the apllication reads as follows:

1. Introduction

This is to invite all interested and eligible candidates for 2018/2019 admission into the Katsina State Institute of Technology and Management (KSITM) to apply/register online for Post-UTME screening exercise.

2. Eligibility

2.1 School of Technology

i) NID in Computer Software Engineering (CSE)

>> UTME Subject Combination

Applicants must have a score of 120 and above in the 2018 JAMB-UTME in the following subjects:
Mathematics, Physics and one other subject from the following: Chemistry, Biology, Geography or Agricultural Science.

>> O’level Subjects

Five (5) O’level credit passes in not more than two sittings in English Language, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry and any other subject from the following:
Biology, Information Communication Technology (ICT)/Computer Studies, Basic Electricity/Applied Electricity, General Woodwork, General Metalwork/Auto-Mechanics, Agricultural Science/Animal Husbandry, Geography, Technical Writing/Building/Engineering Drawing, Further Mathematics, Statistics, Foods and Nutrition/Hotel and Catering, Health Science.

ii) NID in Networking and System Security (NSS)

>> UTME Subject Combination

Applicants must have a score of 120 and above in the 2018 JAMB-UTME in the following subjects:
Mathematics, Physics and one other subject from the following: Chemistry, Biology, Geography or Agricultural Science.

>> O’level Subjects

Five (5) O’level credit passes in not more than two sittings in English Language, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry and any other subject from the following:
Biology, Information Communication Technology (ICT)/Computer Studies, Basic Electricity/Applied Electricity, General Woodwork, General Metalwork/Auto-Mechanics, Agricultural Science/Animal Husbandry, Geography, Technical Writing/Building/Engineering Drawing, Further Mathematics, Statistics, Foods and Nutrition/Hotel and Catering, Health Science.

2.2 School of Management

i) NID in Banking Operations (BOP)

>> UTME Subject Combination

Applicants must have a score of 120 and above in the 2018 JAMB-UTME in following subjects:
Mathematics, Economics and one other subject from the following: Geography, History, Government, Commerce or Principles of Accounts.

>> O’level Subjects

Five (5) O’level credit passes in not more than two sittings in English Language, Mathematics, Economics and any other subject from the following:
Commerce, Business Methods, Government, Civic Education, Biology/Agricultural Science, Computer Studies, Home Management, History, Geography, Literature in English, Stores Management, Financial Accounts, Shorthand, Office Practice, Insurance, Tourism, Data Processing, Store Keeping, Book keeping, Animal Husbandry, Marketing, Salesmanship, Insurance, Civic Education and Principles of Cost Accounting.

3. Procedure for Payment and Registration for the Screening Exercise

Eligible candidates are required to make a non–refundable payment of N2,000.00 (Two Thousand Naira) only for the Post-UTME screening directly into the following Bank Account:

After payment, candidates should click here to register for the screening exercise.


Date and time for screening will be announced in due course.
