The former Senator representing Katsina north, Senator Abdu Yandoma has joined All Progressive Congress (APC) from People’s Democratic Party (PDP).
Yandoma had recently decamped to People’s Democratic Party from People’s Redemption Party (PRP) and now joined APC.
He accused the PDP leadership of injustice and favoratism in candidate selection which according to him had led to the loss of other influential aspirants like Umar Tata.
“I wish to inform my decision to defect to All Progressive Party to the public due to the series of injustice meted by the party and its selfish leadership that recently resulted the defection of our influential aspirant, Umar Abdullah Tata”. He said
Yandoma however, commended the APC leadership for it commitmen toward providing equity to all card carrying members irrespective of their status.
Senator Abdu Yandoma is a former Senator representing Daura senatorial zone from 1999-2003 and former chairman Senate Committee on Petroleum, Solid Minerals and Mines.
