APC senate ticket: APC denies disqualifying Masari’s Chief of staff, Mandiya, Barkiya
The Katsina state All Progressive Congress (APC) has denied a report that Governor Masari”s Chief of staff Alhaji Bello Mandiya and and former MD of Federal Road Maintenance Agency Alhaji Kabir Barkiya has been disqualified from Katsina senatorial seat.
A statement by the state chairman of the APC, Malam Shitu S. Shitu revealed that The duo’s name were only omitted nor disqualified.
The National Working Committee of the APC has yesterday released a list of cleared aspirants seeking to contest Senate seats on its platform across the country without the names of Bello Mandiya and Kabir Barkiya
Unlike the list of governorship aspirants released last week, which contained the names of those not cleared to run, that of Senate only contains the names of cleared aspirants.
Bello Mandiya bought form to contest for Katsina South Senatorial Zone seat, Kabir Barkiya bought form for Katsina central Senatorial zone seat.
