How Katsina pilgrims celebrate Eid-El-Kabir in Saudi Arabia

Katsina state pilgrims to this year’s Hajj are celebrating Sallah with visitation of friends and family within their camp situated at Mina, Saudi Arabia.

Daily Trust reports that the camp is bubbling with activities as most pilgrims whom have completed their Hajj rites have put on their respective Sallah clothes and beaming with smiles.

Free food and drinks are being shared just as some pilgrims spoken to express happiness for the day and wished family and friends a blissful sallah celebration.

Muhammadu Usman Sarki said today being Sallah is a memorable day having completed ones Arafat day successfully noting that despite economic challenges all over the world, Nigerian pilgrims have sacrifice a lot to be in Saudi for the Hajj rites.

He called on them to intensify prayers for the administration to deliver on their promises.

Another pilgrim, Zaharadeen Umar said the Sallah was more interesting following a sallah gift of 300 riyals to pilgrims saying that ‘it will go a long way in supporting pilgrims to celebrate the sallah in Holy land’. He commended the state governor Aminu Masari for the gesture.

For Kabiru Rabiu said Sallah is a day for celebration adding that ‘ what I missed most was the traditional Sallah meat at home.’

However Muhammad S-Kuka, advice pilgrims to celebrate with cautions and continue to pray for their friends, family and the country at large.
