Max Air has resumed the airlifting of pilgrims from Katsina state after it replaced a faulty plane, Daily Trust reports.

The airliner’s 5N-DBK aircraft developed a fault after it failed to airlift the fourth flight of intending pilgrims from the state.
The pilgrims had to disembark from the fault plane and a new plane was brought in after 2 hours delay.
The arrival of the plane with registration 5N-ADM was greeted with joy after pilgrims had waited for over 8 hours waiting.

It could be recalled that the National Hajj Commission has allocated 4,930 seats for Katsina state in the 2018 Hajj exercise in Saudi Arabia.

This was disclosed to newsmen by the Katsina State Executive Director of the Muslims Pilgrims Welfare Board, Mohammed Abu Rimi.
