– Masari spent over N154m on instructional materials in 2018 so far
Over one hundred and fifty four million naira (N154m) has been expended for the provision of instructional materials in this year (2018) alone, by the Katsina State Government under the able leadership of His Excellency Rt. Hon. Aminu Bello Masari.
The Hon. Commissioner for Education Katsina State, Ass.Prof. Badamasi Lawal revealed this at the distribution of ceremony of over one hundred thousand (100,000) copies of assorted text books to all the Public Schools across the State.
The Commissioner added that the procurement of the assorted text books is in line with the State Government’s resolve to improve quality of Education in the State.
The distribution ceremony took place at Katsina Zonal Quality Assurance Office.
In his remarks, the Director Quality Assurance of the Ministry Dauda Audi Kofar Bai said, the text books include general Sciences (Physics, Chemistry and Biology) others are Social Studies, Mathematics, English Language and Literature, Computer Studies, Hausa, Islamic Studies among others.
Earlier, the Zonal Coordinator Katsina Zone, Nasiru Kado Shinkafi received the text books on behalf of other 11 zonal Coordinators of the State and assured the Honourable Commissioner of speedy distribution of the text books as well as their judicious use to achieve the desired objective.
