Ibrahim Zakari Talba transmits his letter for Expression of Interest to contest the by-election for katsina North i.e Daura Zone
The Honorary Special Adviser International Relations and Investments IBRAHIM ZAKARI Talba has submitted his letter of Expression to contest the by-election for katsina North (Daura Zone) in the upcoming senate by-election slated for 11th August 2018.
In his letter (Copy Attached) he stated that; ” after intensive consultations with all the 12 local governments of the zone and pressure from thousands of supporters within and outside the party especially the teeming youths, women and pressure groups from all over the State I feel it’s time for me to answer the calls”.
It would be recalled, Ibrahim Zakari Talba is the 1st Honorary Special Adviser International relations and investments to the Katsina State government and the first and only appointee perhaps not only in Katsina but Nigeria at large that does not collect salary, house, car or any allowances for his service since appointed in 2016. But yet has contributed more than anyone according to our investigations. He has contributed immensely in various sectors of the State especially in the Investments and International Relations activities.
Reliable sources gathered that his investment drive led to the revival of several Moribound Industries and handed over to technically competent investors such as the Kankia metal works which have been nonexistent since the Balarabe Musa era, but today it’s producing nails, PVC pipes, vinyls tube, motorcyles and trycles (keke napep). It’s has employed 83 ladies/women and over 150 youths as seen during our last visit to the factory.
Lately, he spearheaded the handing over of kankara kaolin and katsina Neem Processing factory to the world reknowned Bilal Group of Dubai.
Ibrahim Zakari Talba threw another joker card by initiating the 1st 100% private driven Refinery in the north of Nigeria to be built in Mashi local government of katsina state (Blakoil Energy Refinery). This refinery is a project of $2 billion ( over N700 billion). It is projected to employ over 2,500 direct employment and over 10,000 in direct employment according to their feasibility study we saw at the ministry of petroleum resources.
His efforts are worth commendation and appreciation not only by the state government but northern Nigeria and Youths of Nigeria in general. We also learnt that the Nigerian President Muhammad Buhari and Republic of Niger President Issoufou will sign the final bilateral trade agreement next week Tuesday 24th July in the Presidential Villa, Abuja.
Ibrahim Zakari Talba is always full of gratitude and appreciation to the government of Katsina state especially the Governor RT. Hon Aminu Bello Masari for always giving him all the support he needed to make all these happen. He said without a visionary and focused leader like him nothing would have happened that’s why he is pleading with the good people of katsina state to give him another 4 years to complete the good work he is doing.
