District head of Safana confers traditional titles on two illustrious persons (Pictures)
The district head of Safana, Alhaji Sada Rufai , has on Friday conferred traditional titles on two illustrious sons of the monarchy in his palace.
Those turbaned include: QS Faisal Ahmad Muhammad Batagarawa mniqs as Dan-Ajiyan Safana and Alhaji Bello Kado as Maremawan Safana.
The 33-year-old Faisal is a son to the Former Grand Khadi of Katsina, Ahmad Muhammad Batagarawa (OFR), a descendant of Sarki Ibrahim while Bello Kado to that of Maremawa both of Dallajawa dynasty.
Speaking shortly after the turbaning ceremony, the district head said they were conferred with titles based on inheritance adding that both of them are part of the monarchy.
He charged them to discharge their responsibility diligently.
The monarch counseled the appointees to continue to offer meaningful advice to the Institute on issues affecting the well-being of the entire people of the monarchy.
Until their appointment, Mr. Faisal Ahmad is a professional Quantity Surveyor based in Abuja while Bello Kado was a retired Area Manager of Union Bank Sokoto.
