Commissioner urges women to get PVC, vote Buhari, Masari again in 2019

The commissioner, Ministry of women affairs Katsina state, Dr. Badiyya Hassan Mashi, has advised women yet to register or collect Permanent Voter Card (PVC) to do so and avoid disenfranchisement in 2019 elections.

The commissioner made the call while donating food items for distribution to vulnerable women under stewardship of Daura-based women da’awa organization, Hai’a Ummahatil Muslim in Daura.

She urged the women to use the opportunity provided by ongoing nationwide Continuous Voter Registration (CVR) to register on time to vote for President Buhari and Governor Aminu Bello Masari in the forthcoming 2019 elections.

While admonishing women to intensify prayers for President Buhari, Dr. Baddiyya also urged them to continue supporting government ‘s policies and programmes of Governor Aminu Bello Masari’s led administration.

“We are aware of the challenges facing our president especially from the opposition forces, let use this opportunity of the holy month to pray for him and that of governor Masari.” She said

“Our PVC will determine whether we love Baba Buhari or not. Because without it we can no longer vote for him in the forthcoming election.”

“I strongly enjoined all of you to go and register or collect your PVC within the shortest time possible.”

The commissioner noted that “Any women who didn’t register PVC didn’t help herself neither the struggle of President Muhammadu Buhari.”

She revealed that Governor Masari’s administration is 100 percent in support of all programmes and policies of President Muhammadu Buhari.

The highlight of the event includes an Award presented to the commissioner by the organization and donation of 30 bags of maize by the honorable commissioner.
