Nigerian Partnership for Education Project Katsina State Chapter Organised a One Day Meeting for Traditional and Religious Leaders.

In order to continue to strengthen cordial relationship between traditional and religious leaders/clergies and to solicit for their continuous support towards increased sensitization and awareness of our rural communities on the importance of education for the girl child, NIPEP hosted a 1-day meeting of traditional and religious leaders across the state.

The aim was to solicit for their support towards the crusade of GIRLS EDUCATION. Paper were presented from both Islamic and Religious perspectives on the importance of education for the girl child.

The meeting also agreed to extend same to Daura and Funtua Senatorial Districts in order to garner more support. Representative of the Emirs of Katsina and Daura, Members from Jama’atu Nasril Islam, Christian Association of Nigeria, JIBWIS, Fityanu, Christian Corpers, Muslim Corpers, women Forums, Social Media, Press and Imams/Pastors were all in attendance
