FELLOW PDP AND SHEMA SUPPORTERS THIS IS A CALL TO STAND FOR JUSTICE!!!!
This post is not intended for those of us who support Ibrahim S. Shema only. It is for all.
We all know that Shema is being persecuted for no just reasons. We are aware of the tremendous achievements he has had as governor of Katsina State.
We are also aware of how in 3 years the present government performed. The present government has performed so poorly despite total monetary collections of over N400bn.
Most of us are equally aware of how desperate the present government is on harassing and intimidating HE Shema. This harassment has continued for 3 years.
It is not our intention to Labour the desperation of the government. The current harassment, as we are told by the people close to the government, is a resultant effect of the total failure of the government.
Their belief is that if they harass Shema they will silence him and scare him against coming out to participate actively in the politics of the state. To them if Shema is not able to participate, PDP may not win elections in 2019.
We are not in PDP. We are not politically active. However, We stand with Shema in this respect.
We, therefore, urge the people of Katsina state to come out and show solidarity with Shema on Friday as he returns to court. We need to mobilize 100,000 people to peacefully come out on the day. What we need to do:
0.Wear white clothing, t-shirts preferably, but anything white is ok.
0.Not to use cap or hat. If you come with yours, please just remove it until after the peaceful rally
0.Hold a placard with the inscription #istandwithshema or #inataredashema
0.Assemble opposite the court and say nothing, that is, not high pitch noice that may make us look like politicians at political rallies. We are just for solidarity rally
0.Come with your alwalla as a special prayer will be conducted at the venue.
0.Be at the meeting place by 8am and the special prayers will be offered by 8.30am
Thank you as you arrive.
