Governor Aminu Bello Masari has declared that he will continue to bring into the system people who have the courage to draw him back when he goes wrong in governance.

The governor was speaking today at the council chamber while swearing in a new Special Adviser and three Khadis of the Shariah court in the state.

Malam Muhammad Bashir Usman Ruwan Godiya was sworn in as Special Adviser Higher. Education while Dr Saidu Usman Muhammad, Malam Muhammad Lawal Umar and Mustapha Sani Saukawa were all sworn in as Khadis.

While maintaining that he personally believe in constructive criticism, Governor Masari stated that his administration would maintain its open door policy of welcoming advice from all and sundry.

He called on Bashir Ruwan Godiya to remain steadfast in discharging his duties, reminding him that his responsibilities as a council member would be daunting consideration his antecedents.

Governor Masari however expressed hope that the new Adviser being from the academia will be helped by his colleagues in discharging his duties.

Speaking on the kadis, the governor called on them to fear Allah in the discharge of their duties, noting that the government has done the needful by putting the right people in the right position.

The governor also reminded them that they will be another judgement awaiting them in the hereafter, urging them to ensure they guide their conscience.
