The Executive Governor of Katsina State Alhaji Aminu Bello Masari has urged the general public to attend the public hearing on the new contributory pension scheme bill sent to the State House of Assembly by the him.

This according to the Governor will give everybody chance to know and understand the bill even more while also giving a sense of belonging and also a voice regarding the bill.

The Governor made this remark while conducting a 2-hour live media program with the state’s top media houses executives in his office at Muhammadu Buhari House.

According to the Governor, the scheme when passed into law will bring in no small measure to the betterment of pensioners lives in accessing their benefits in time as in Kano and Jigawa States.

Also, while giving maximum assurance of the scheme, the Governor also stated that it will not affect any civil servants that will retire in three (3) years time.

The chief managers of the media houses that interviewed the Governor are the General Managers of the Nigeria Television Authority (NTA), Katsina Mr. Ayinde Shuwaga, Companion FM, Alhaji Usman Tsiga, State Radio Service, Alhaji Sani Bala Kabomo, State Television, Alhaji Sani Bello Kuringafa and Vision FM, Alhaji Sani Garba Riko among others.
