The Katsina state Governor, Alhaji Aminu Bello Masari has reiterated the determination of his administration to continue to woo investors to the state.
Alhaji Aminu Masari was speaking when he paid a visit to the Ambassador of United Arab Emirates, Mahmoud Muhammad at the Embassy in Maitama District of Abuja.
The Governor told the envoy that Katsina state has potential for investment in agriculture and mineral resources to boost the economic sector of the state.
Alhaji Aminu Masari assured that adequate arrangements have been made for the envoy to visit the state to assess its economic and business viability.
He explained that the present administration had created tax incentives, adding that land allocation within a short span of time had been made easy for investment to thrive In the state.
Earlier, the ambassador to UAE, Mahmoud Muhammad said he was happy to receive Governor Masari in his office, noting that the visit would be beneficial either way .
He said as soon as he received approval from both his home government and the Federal government, he will be visiting Katsina.
The Envoy requested for strong bilateral ties with Katsina state government in all spheres of human endeavors.
Governor Masari was accompanied during the visit by the Chief of staff, Malam Bello Mandiya and the special Adviser to the Governor on inter governmental relations, Dr Lawal Usman Bagiwa among others.
