The then General Manager of Katsina Urban and Regional Planning Board – URPB, and now a Commissioner TPL Usman Nadada says the kofar Kaura city gate was constructed at a cost of ten million naira.
Alhaji Usman Nadada told newsmen that the old gate, which was destroyed was constructed at the sum of fourteen million naira about 11 years ago.
The General Manager expressed gratitude to Governor Aminu Masari for the confidence reposed on the Board to undertake the kofar Kaura city gate project and other projects across the state.
He announced that the gate had now been opened for motorists.
He expressed gratitude to members of the general public for the understanding during the period of the execution of the project.
