
Masari to construct 150 ‘low cost’ houses at N1.9bn
The Katsina state commissioner of Works, housing and Transport, Engineer Tasi’u Dandagoro announced that Katsina state government will this year construct 150 affordable housing units at the total sum of 1.932 billion naira.
The works commissioner also announced that 38 reinforce concrete line drains will be constructed in communities that are prone to flood in the state.
The Commissioner made this known to newsmen on Wednesday shortly after they finished State’s executive council meeting presided over by Governor Aminu Bello Masari at Muhammadu Buhari House.

Also speaking during the press briefing, the state commissioner of Health, Hajiya Mariyatu Bala Usman announced that a standard medical laboratory will be constructed this year.
She announced that a substantial number of health workers request to attend in service training in both Nigerian Institutions and abroad had been approved by the executive council.
