The executive chairman State Universal Education Board (SUBEB), Alhaji Lawal Buhari Daura has ordered the immediate blockage of salaries of two teachers in Kogon Yamma primary school in Mashi local government area over laxity and absenteeism.

The SUBEB boss gave the order after paying an unscheduled visit to some schools in the area.

According to the Chairman, the visit was aimed to ensure teachers commitments and punctuality on duty in-line with the governor Masari’s restoration agenda on education.

Alhaji Lawal Daura also directed the management of the local government authorities to ensure intensive supervision to teachers in the area.

The two teachers affected are Abdulmajid Abdulrahman and Ibrahim Shehu both from Kogon yamma primary school in Mashi local government area.
