A seasoned diplomat and former Director-General of Technical Aid Corps, Mamman Daura, is dead. At the age of 71.
Family sources said he died Wednesday around 7pm at his Aso Drive residence in Abuja after protracted illness.
A career diplomat, late Daura served as Nigeria’s ambassador to Uganda for eight years.
He also served in Saudi Arabia, South Korea, Belgium and Cameroon.
He will be buried on Thursday 4th January in Katsina state Daura local government in accordance with Islamic rites.
