
Cabinet reshuffle looms as Masari moves to appoint new commissioner
A minor cabinet reshuffle is being awaited in Katsina as Governor Aminu Masari has submitted the name of his erstwhile Special Adviser on Higher Education Badamasi Lawal as commissioner Dailytrust reports.
Already, Lawal has appeared before the state assembly where he was cleared and recommended for the position.
It could be recalled that Governor Aminu Bello Masari of Katsina state had on October 31st, 2015 sworn in 13 commissioners and members of the state executive council.

After the commissioners took the oath of office, Masari stated his administration would not shirk the responsibility of providing education, agriculture, health, water supply and security to the people.
Moreover, the governor promised that any of the commissioners who failed to live up to the demands of his office would be removed.
He said all hands must be on deck to boost the state’s internally generated revenue to effectively provide the needed services to the people.
