
Women affairs Commissioner donates cash to vulnerable women in Funtua hospital, 2 others
The Katsina state commissioner of women affairs Dr. Badiyya Hassan Mashi has yesterday donated cash to over 30 critically ill women and children admitted to various hospitals in the state.
The hospitals visited include General hospital Funtua, Malumfashi and Dutsin-ma.
Speaking while handing over the donation, Dr. Badiyya revealed that the money is part of the N20million earmarks by Katsina state government for assisting vulnerable women and children in the state.
Amongst the beneficiaries, including 24 women, 4 children, and 2 Male.
In all the general hospitals visited, the chief medical directors’ thanks to the commissioner for the gesture.
They, however, call on the beneficiaries to make the judicial use of the money received.

The Chief Medical Director of Funtua General Hospital, Dr. Farouk Adamu appealed to the state government to build maternal and child hospital in Funtua for effective health services delivery.
