Security agencies in collaboration with the Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation (NNPC) monitoring team has hunt down 144 trucks filled with petroleum in Kano.
Out of 144 trucks found, 26 were meant for Katsina whilst remaining 118 trucks were made to discharge their duties in Kano.
The teem was set up to end temporary fuel scarcity across the nation.
In addition, the arrested trucks were not streamed by some marketers in Kano and the product were meant to feed the state and its surroundings.
According to the Business Post Nigeria, sequel to discovery, the hoarded trucks had been sent to discharge the products in its respective destinations.
NNPC has cautioned marketers to avoid hoarding petroleum product so as to bridge the gap between demand of the citizenry and supply.
It could be recalled that since the beginning of this month queues has rampantly increased in the filling stations across the nation.
