Emir of Daura, Alhaji Umar Farouq Umar has conferred a traditional title of Magajiya Yakumo to his one-year old daughter on Wednesday, Katsinapost.com reliably gathered.

The newest and perhaps the youngest traditional title holder in the ancient Hausa Kingdom Princess Halima is currently the last born of the Emir of Daura.

The turbaning ceremony according to our reporter took place in Daura at the premises of the Emir’s palace.

The traditional title of Magajiya is usually conferred to princesses in the kingdom of Daura.

In another related news, The governor of Katsina, Alhaji Aminu Bello Masari, has said the only problem that is bedevilling the northern part of Nigeria is quality of leadership.

The governor, who addressed the retreat of Northern senators’ forum in Katsinsa on Tuesday advised the north not to be afraid of restructuring as he stressed that the region is not poor.
