
Katsina gov’t vows to spend additional N1bn in drainage construction
Katsina state government plans to spend an additional one billion naira in the construction of additional drainages in Katsina metropolitan city to prevent flooding.
The state governor, Alhaji Aminu Bello Masari disclosed this during a courtesy call by APC stakeholders from Katsina local government led by the state Deputy Governor, Quantity Surveyor Mannir Yakubu at government house, Katsina.
The Governor explained that the drainages would be constructed during this dry season before the rains set in.

Alhaji Aminu Masari disclosed that already the present APC administration had spend huge amount in construction of such drainages, which had minimised problems of flood in Katsina city.
Earlier in a remark, the leader of the delegation and state Deputy Governor, Quantity Surveyor Mannir Yakubu told Governor Masari that the visit was for the stakeholders to show appreciation for the projects so far executed in the local government.
