Katsina Police command arrests 3 notorious motorcycle thieves at UBA, First Bank premises
Katsina State Police command has succeeded in the arrest of three notorious syndicate that specialised in motorcycle theft in Katsina metropolis on the 30th of November, 2017 in the evening.
The State’s Commissioner of Police, CP Besen Gwana confirmed this while briefing newsmen shortly before parading them before our correspondent alongside other suspects arrested for criminal offences in the state on Wednesday.
“On 30/11/2017 at about 16:00hrs, the command succeeded and busting a notorious syndicate of motorcycles thieves, specialises in stealing motorcycles parked in Banks’ premises in Katsina.
The duo of one Nura Gambo aged 26yrs ‘m’ of Dagije village, Daura LGA of Katsina state and one Bishir Ibrahim aged 30yrs ‘m’ of Yamari village, Kankia LGA of Katsina state were nabbed when they stole a motorcycle Jinchen Rubber motorcycle, Engine No. 1007424, valued N220,000:00k, belonging to one Sani Danladi ‘m’ of Daddara village, Jibia, Katsina state inside the premises of First Bank, Kofar Kaura Katsina.
Two fabricated master keys were recovered from their possessions. Suspects are making useful statements assisting the police in their investigations.
In another similar case, on 28/11/2017 the command succeeded in arresting one Abba Ya’u aged 28yrs ‘m’ of Kofar Ruwa Qrts, Kano who stole a motorcycle Jinchen Rubber black in colour, unregistered, valued N200,000:00k inside UBA Bank, Kofar Kaura Katsina belonging to one Fahad Abdulrashid ‘m’ of Tsanni village, Batagarawa LGA of Katsina state. One fabricated master key was recovered in his possession. Investigation is ongoing. They will soon be charged to court.” According to the Police Commissioner.
