The people of Dutsin-ma community has for four consecutive days aired their dissatisfaction with the lack of water supply in the town.

Katsinapost.com.ng gathered that children, parents, and water vendors were seen all over the streets looking for or fetching water for drink or cooking. It has reached a level that one jerrican (25l) of Dam water is being sold at the cost of N70 instead of N10 – N15.

A serving Water Board staff in Dutsin-ma who pleaded anonymity confirmed to our correspondent that the problem is lack of Gas supply to use for the generators.

People would recall that, among major campaign promises by Governor Masari to the Dutsin-ma community during the 2015 rally was rehabilitation and renovation of the whole water system within six months; of which he promised to be stoned if he failed to achieve.
