
Cattle Rustling: Katsina Introduces Animal Tracking Technology
The Katsina state government is to draw in a private firm that will acquaint cattle tracking technology to guard against cattle rustling in the state.
At a meeting with Governor Aminu Bello Masari at the Government House in Katsina, the Chief Executive of the company, Mr. Emilio Sapina, said the company is prepared to accomplice the state government in its endeavors to give security to pastoralists.
He said once the tracking chip is introduced beneath the skin of a cow, the animal could be followed at whatever point it is stolen or disappears.
