Just in: Governor Masari vows to relocate the popular ‘Yarkutungu’ market
The executive Governor of Katsina State Alhaji Aminu Bello Masari has assured the residence of the Katsina metropolis and those of Kangiwa ward that his administration will relocate the popular ‘yarkutungu’ market to a new place at the outskirts of the town.
The Governor gave this assurance today when he received a delegation of prominent persons from Kangiwa ward led by Senator Abba Ali who paid him a courtesy visit at the Muhammadu Buhari House and appealed for the market relocation.
The Governor stated that he was briefed since about how the location of the market is making life very difficult for the schools and other government establishments around it by the Emir of Katsina Alhaji Abdulmumini Kabir Usman through the Magajin garin Katsina.
Alhaji Aminu Bello Masari therefore charged the delegation to as a matter of necessity enlighten the dwellers of the market about the government plan of the relocation and the wisdom behind it.
Earlier, the leader of the delegation Senator Abba Ali on behalf of all the members, thank the Governor for the numerous number of projects executed in their ward worth billions of Naira.
