King Sa’ud Medical City Riyadh to offer free Eye Surgery for 30,000 Patients in Katsina

The Special Adviser International Affairs to Gov. Masari, Ibrahim Zakari invited  the President of King Saud Medical City Riyadh to partner and help offer free Eye Surgery for over 30,000 people in Katsina State. These disclosed by his Personal Assistant Dikko Ibrahim Talba during a visit to the various hospitals across the state such as Mashi, Mani, Daura, Kankia and Dan Musa hospitals in katsina State.

The leader of the delegation Dr. SAMIR AL- MANSOUR and associate Professor said, ‘ Ibrahim Zakari is a friend who seeked for assistance in various areas in the state with the health sector being of great priority of Governor Masari ‘s administration.

We discussed with him and agreed to offer Free Eye Surgery for 30,000 people, that is why we came to Nigeria to start preparations of inspecting the Katsina Eye Center and other Hospitals and equipments so as to be familiar with the system and Insha Allah we will start these exercise soon. they expressed there satisfaction with the management and commended the state government for making health sector a priority.

Dr. Sa’ied Mikah’il an Opthalmologist who is also amongst the visiting team, stated that Alh.Ibrahim Zakari has done a great job and Insha Allah, we will make his dream of offering these free Eye Surgery Free and as well give drug’s for Free.

We pray to Allah Subhahu wata’ala to give us the wisdom to undertake such exercise successfully. He further said we have already started briefing our officials in Riyadh and Alh. Ibrahim Zakari about the level of preparedness. Alh. Ibrahim Zakari has started facilitating the travel documents for our team of doctors to come to Katsina immediately.

Dikko Ibrahim, said they have been to the various hospitals with the team and still going ahead to Dutsinma, Malumfashi, Bakori and Funtua hospitals as part of the schedule to ensure Smooth takeoff of the exercise.
