The National Association of Biochemistry Students Ummaru Musa Yar’adua University Chapter has yesterday concluded its annual exhibition programmes.
The president of the association Comrade Nurudeen Muhammad disclosed this to Katsina Post shortly at the end of the special lecture presentation delivered by Professor Kabir Matazu and the director healthcare services of the University Dr. Darma titled “Malaria, Causes and prevention” held at the student lecture theater.
According to Comrade Nuruddeen, the programmes partake include; sensitization visits to other departments, medical exhibitions and free clinical services such as blood, sugar and malaria test to staff and students.
He said the preliminary blood sample would be submitted to Katsina Ministry of Health for further analyses.
Among the guest present, include Justice Musa Danladi, Head of Departments, Dean Student’s affairs and other top management of the institution.
In a vote of thanks, the president however expressed appreciation to the school management and other stakeholders involved for the smooth conduct of the exercise.
