The Special Adviser to the Governor of Katsina State Alhaji Aminu Bello Masari on International Relations and Investment Alhaji Ibrahim Zakari has successfully invites, led and convinced the management of the renowned world leading Fabric Company, VLISCO to heavily invest in Katsina State.

This was known on the 1st of November, when the group of the company’s Chief Executive Officer, David Suddens led his delegation to Katsina Government House and met with the State Deputy Governor Alhaji Mannir Yakubu.

During their discussion, the Company’s CEO disclosed their plan to establish a cotton processing and textile industry in the State.

Mr. David stated that the company has only two world class branches in the whole of Africa located at Ghana and Ivory coast and that the main purpose of their visit is to make themselves familiar with the State officials ahead of their proposed January 2018 take off.

While commenting, the State Deputy Governor expresses his joy over the development and also promised government support.

According to him, the Katsina State under the current administration is forever ready to partner and also offer support to all developmental partners and programs geared toward the development of the State.

Earlier, the Special Advisor to the Governor, Alhaji Ibrahim Zakari stated that the company is a world class brand that rings bell in the world of fabrics and textile industry and that their presence in Katsina will definitely put Katsina on the map.

According to him, he has initiated and facilitated the coming of various international investors to the state since the inception of this administration.

He therefore thanked the Governor for giving him the chance to offer his quota in the development of the State.
