The Federal high court sitting in Abuja has today granted interim forfeiture of eighteen houses belonging to the former governor of the state Alhaji Ibrahim Shema.
This is contained in a statemet sign by the attorney general of the state and made available to newsmen in Katsina.
According to the statement, the order was granted following application for the final forfeiture by the economic and financial crimes commission (EFCC),and Katsina state government
Similarly Justice Kolawole of the high court has granted interim forfeiture of the thirteen other houses belonging to the former governor.
He said the thirty one houses were located in Kaduna, Kano, Abuja worth billions of naira.
