2019 Elections: Late Senator Mustapha Kanti Bello Supporters endorses Masari


The All Progressives Congress (APC) Caucus in Katsina State under the auspices of ‘Late Senator Mustapha Kanti Bello Supporters’ has endorsed President Muhammadu Buhari and Governor Aminu Masari for second term, considering their records of accomplishment and leadership styles.

Alhaji Mustapha Mahmud, pioneer of the gathering and Commissioner for Resource Development, who made this known after he drove the overflowing supporters of Late Bello to a town-hall meeting with Masari on Sunday, said the meeting was to indicate solidarity and to tell the representative that the gathering has settled their before political contrasts.

“We came here as supporters of Late Bello. This is a group that has over 4,000 supporters that had worked for Late Mustapha Kanti Bello in the 2015 general election. We have issues we think that the administration would be dealing with very successfully, now that we have economic recovery and growth plan which encapsulates everything we need to move Katsina forward,” he said.

Alhaji Mahmud, said the group’s belief in President Buhari and Masari remained unshaken as they remains the people who can ensure the progress and stability of the country, saying Buhari and Masari’s “good works” would speak for them come 2019.

“I believe we are going to achieve those things that we set for ourselves at the moment. I also believe that the future is bright and by the grace of God. By 2019, we would have achieved so much in this administration and Mr. President and the governor will have no option but continue the good work they have started.
“We will continue to identify with and support all the programmes that this administration has set forward.

And l believe that we have every justification to be happy because Buhari campaigned on three major pillars of anti-corruption, fighting the insecurity across the country and revitalising the economic status of Nigeria,” he stated.

Aminu Masari who depicted the late Senator as a “mainstay of political excursion in Katsina,” said the state government under his supervision would place system in motion to settle the activities of the late Senator, asking the supporters of the late representative to rally round his organization to empower him convey the required profits of popular government in the state.
