Katsina metropolis to experience shortage of water supply for a few days due to renovation and replacement of main water pipes that supply water to communities at Ajiwa water plant.
The Managing Director of Katsina state water board Engr. Babangida Abu stated this while inspecting ongoing water works.
Engr. Babangida said the exercise will last for five days as he equally expressed satisfaction of work by the technical staff.
He said the project is part of the current administration’s commitment to constant water supply to various communities in the state.
Furthermore, he pointed out that the government has spent huge amount of money for the procurement of pump machines and water pipes.
