
Katsina government to construct ‘ring road’ in Daura town
Katsina State House of Assembly has passed a resolution on the floor of the House calling on the State government led by Governor Aminu Bello Masari to construct Katsina-like ring road in Daura Town.
The State Deputy speaker Alhaji Dalhatu Tafoki who led the members’ sitting announced the resolution and thereafter directed the clark of the House to write and inform the executive arm of government for necessary action.
Earlier, Honorable Nasir Yahaya member representing Daura Local Government while depending the motion took his time to explain to his colleagues the socio economic important of the road to the ancient city of Daura stating that it will boot economic well being of the Town dwellers.
The member also stated that the last time the town benefited from road project was during the General Abacha’s regime through PTF led by President Muhammadu Buhari.
