The honorable commissioner of women affairs Dr. Badiyya Hassan Mashi has commended governor Masari’s effort toward assisting women and children in the state.

Dr. Badiyya made the commendation while donating locally made dietary supplement called Garin Lapia to over 260 malnourished children in Sabon garin Kalgo and Dangarin Kada villages of Rimi and Jibia local government areas of Katsina state.

While donating, the commissioner described healthy condition, proper upbringing and education as leading ingredients in realizing valuable society.

She pointed out that governor Masari-led administration has so far recorded success in the areas of education, health, security and empowerment.

The commissioner said, two communities were selected each from seven local government areas befit from the programme.

She added that the programme would also expand in all local government areas of the state.

Dr. Badiiya hassle the importance of sending children to school rather than exposing them to street hawks.

Other speakers at the occation includes the directors’ administration of Rimi and Jibia local governements, director health and APC women leader.
