The council members and the management of federal university Dutsin-ma (FUDMA) has assured their host communities of embarking on assisting women and children in the area.
The council chairman Dr. Maraliya Zayyan disclosed this when she paid a courtesy visit to district head of Dutsin-ma and the head of administration of Dutsin-ma local government councils at their offices.
She added that the programme would cover eradication of street begging in almajiri system, improper waste disposal and unemployment among youths in the area.
Dr. Maridiya Zayyana therefore solicited the support of the local government council chairman and that of the district head toward achieving the desired objectives.
In separate remarks, the stakeholders assured to give all necessary cooperation to the institution in order to achieve success.
Similarly, the governing council of the Federal University Dutsin-ma (FUDMA) has solicited the support of the Katsina state government toward accreditation of the university’s courses.
The chairman of the governing council Dr. Maridiya Zayyana made the plea when she led the members of the governing council and the management of the institution on a courtesy call to the secretary to Katsina state government Dr. Mustapha Muhammad Inuwa.
