
Masari pledges honest and quality leadership in Katsina
Katsina State Governor Aminu Masari has pledged to offer honest and quality leadership to citizens of the state.
He made the pledge at the opening ceremony of the state’s 30th Anniversary celebration on Thursday in Katsina.
He said “an honest leadership without segregation and dishonesty will be provided to the entire Katsina people.”
He added that the senatorial zones in the state had benefitted from provision of social amenities without discrimination.
He pointed out that “we made appointments of political offices without neglecting any side.”
Earlier, an Islamic scholar, Shiekh Mansir Daura, had called on the people to always assist leaders with prayers for success.
He said “I urge you all not to condemn, abuse or say negative things about your leaders.”
Another Islamic scholar, Shiekh Sufiyanu Katsina, called on leaders to be honest, fair and just
to the governed.
He said “leaders should always treat their subjects with mercy to get their support and prayers.
“When a leader is ruthless, no common man will respect or pray for him or her to succeed.”
He commended Gov. Masari for providing dividends of democracy to Katsina people.

I really appreciates the development on ground in every nooks and corners of the state,in rural and urban areas all is a collective efforts of the present and past administrations,political leaders and military all contributes towards the developments of the state. I want to say that there are some states in the east older than katsina,collecting federal share and internally generated revenue than katsina but nothing to show.Alhamdu lillahi,Allah taimaki jihar katsina,Allah ya daukakata.
