
JUST IN: FCE Katsina gets full accreditation of undergraduate courses
The National University Commission (NUC) has approved the full accreditation of Federal College of Education Katsina (FCE) undergraduate courses affiliated to Bayero University Kano (BUK).
The leader of the delegation from the university Dr. Salihu Lawal Malumfashi disclose this while presenting the accreditation certificate to the provost of the college at the college’s conference hall in Katsina.
Dr. Malumfashi stated that FCE Katsina is the only college among the four colleges affiliated to BUK that successfully pass accreditation stages in all the courses registered.
According to him, FCE Katsina scored excellent marks on the courses includes B.ed Islamic, B.ed Arabic and B.ed English language.
Responding, the provost of the college Dr. Aliyu Idris Funtua expressed gratitude to the management of BUK for the support and cooperation given to the college.

He urged BUK management to increase the number of undergraduate courses in the institution considering the large population of the state.
He also appealed the delegation to extend the college’s request for the increase of number of applicants per course beyond the 300 candidates’ quota given to the college.
