UPDATE: GM, Katsina Radio Service gives update on the proposed 3 FM stations

The Katsina State General Manager of the State Radio Malam Sani Bala Kabomo has stated that preparations are in top gear as regards to the State government plan to establish three (3) state owned radio FM stations.
The General Manager made this known in an interview with Daily Trust when he was asked about the development about the said project.
He stated that: “On this note, I want to commend the government for the commitment and resolve to establish three FM stations to be located at Katsina, Funtua and Daura.  Plans are in top gear, while processes for the award of the contract is about to be accomplished.”
On the alleged public perception on blocking any opposition voice, Malam Sani Bala debunked the claim saying that: “As a state-owned media, I want to say that the present state administration has given us a free hand.
