
Governor Masari admits implementing some ‘unpopular’ policies
The Katsina State Governor and former Speaker of the House of Representatives of the Federal Republic of Nigeria Rt. Honourable Aminu Bello Masari admits that they may be implementing unpopular policies in the state.
The Governor made this assertion in a series of tweet with his Twitter official handle as seen by KATSINA POST reporter.
In the series of the tweets, the Governor stated also that he is serious about providing Good governance in the state and not to play any deceptive politics.
He then also said that he do not want to be hailed while in office, but rather, he believe he will be hailed long after he left office.
“We may be implementing unpopular policies, but we believe we will be commended in the future for taking the bull by the horn.” He tweeted.
He also tweeted that: “We are here to provide leadership and we are ready to pay the price. The time of deceptive politics is over.”
Also according to the Governor,: “We detest being hailed while still in office, what we prefer most is being praised while out of office.”
