Academic activities are still in progress at Federal University Dutsin-ma despite nationwide strike embarked upon Academic Staff Union of the Universities (ASUU).

The ASUU chairman Federal University Dutsin-ma (FUDMA) Comrade Samuel Jimmo announce this to newsmen at the University Campus in Dutsina-ma shortly after Union’s meeting.

He said the FUDMA ASUU chapter were in total support of the strike adding that the FUDMA Union at the stage is only capable of observing the strike because the university is not fully registered with the Union..

According to him, ASUU have no option than to embark on total indefinite nationwide strike for federal and state government to implement the condition of 2009 agreement and MoU of 2013 and the understanding-reach in November 2016.

The chairman attributed the decay of Education system of Nigeria to politicians which according to him had failed to address the decay in the sector.

He said ASUU will continue to partner with other progressive element in the country to resist the hidden agenda of the ruling class.
