UPDATE: Mustapha Inuwa demands his petition to EFCC over N1.6bn retracted ‘unconditionally’
Secretary to the Government of Katsina State in person of Alhaji Mustapha Inuwa had demanded for ‘immediate and unconditional retraction and apology’ from Katsina State National Conscience Party (NCP) Chairman over his petition against him to the EFCC.
This was contained in a latter signed by one Chief E. O. Obunadike of Alheri Law Chambers on his behalf to the NCP Katsina Chairman Abdulmumini Shehu Sani and seen by KATSINA POST.
In the latter dated 19th of May, 2015, the NCP Chairman was asked to make the retraction and apology and copied it to the EFCC Abuja and Kano offices as well as publish it in three (3) Daily Newspapers with national coverage not later than 10 days from the day he received the latter.
Failure to do that, the Law Chambers threatened to initiate legal proceedings against the NCP Chairman on the instruction of the Katsina State SGS.
It could be recalled that we earlier reported that the Katsina State Chairman of the National Conscience Party (NPC) ant her gubernatorial candidate in the state during the last 2015 general election Abdulmumini Shehu Sani has asked EFCC to investigate the Katsina state Secretary to the State Government Alhaji Mustapha Inuwa over the ‘missing N1.6bn’.
This was contained in a petition signed by the party chairman and addressed to the Chairman of the Economic and Financial Crime Commission (EFCC) on the 17th of May, 2017.
