Over N352 Million will be disbursed to government pre-nursery and primary schools in Katsina state under global partnership for education project.

This was disclosed when Katsina Education Commissioner Professor Halimatu Sadiya Idris visits Dutsin-Ma to monitor training workshops for the development of education in the state. The workshops are for early-child development teachers, school based development committees and on training English language.
The commissioner accompanied by the state coordinator Global Partnership for Education Project Hajiya Halima Lawal Usman first inspected a cluster for the training of early-child care development teachers held at Na-Alhaji Model Primary school.
A Total of 750 teachers are being trained under Global Partners for Education Project improve their capacity in handling the education of children under 5 years.
The commissioner was also in one of the centers for the training of school based development management committee at Dutsin-Ma local education authority were over 2600 committee members from 870 schools across the state are being trained.
Prof. Sadiya however assured the determination of Masari’s led-administration improved the education sector and call more support to achieve the desired objective.
In a remark, the state coordinator of the Global Partnership for Education Project Hajiya Halima Lawal explained that a total of 1157 pre-nursery schools will be giving N150, 000 each while 511 primary schools will be giving N450, 000 under the program.
