Maiden press release of concern Corp members: This is the time for the youth to strengthen the ties and avoid segregation
Maiden press release of Concerned Corp Members.
THIS IS THE TIME FOR THE YOUTH TO STRENGTHEN THE TIES AND AVOID SEGREGATION
There is a popular saying which goes thus; united we stand, divided we fall. We can stand up to any threat or opposition when we stay as a team. Only in a united world will one be able to live for the benefit of others. So, do not do unto others what you would not permit to be done onto you as this will ensure the strengthening of the ties of unity rather than promoting division.
In view of the above, we must sincerely commend the effort of the government in withholding the unity of the country and for manifestation of the NYSC. We also appreciate the efforts of the Katsina State Governments along with the EMIR of the State for the boldly step being taken so far to direct all the racial, tribal, and personal differences into a constructive direction. This has make it possible to see ourselves as one despite the many forms, shapes, color, language and sizes we possess. Indeed, it is a sign of a healthy society in which people compete for what is best.
Having said that; the need to call for a wider loyalty for a larger aspiration than any that may have been peculiar to the human race, the subordination of personal interests to the imperative claims of a unified world, is important. Because only in unity lies our strength and diversity as a nation. We the Concerned Corp Members believed human society will not attain that state of spiritual develpment and maturity until there is wholehearted support and commitment of all men. Therefore, songs of unity need to be chanted from every corner to send messages across that One Nigeria spirit is all we need to build a better nation for the coming generation.
Injustice they say can never wipe justice off the face; we urge government to take very seriously any attempts to cause violence or disrupt the peace of this country. And that is very important because no one can control violence once it begins. Thus, the youth also have a very vital role to play as we are also part of this great country, this is never the time to allow anyone to use us for their own gain.
Education being the tool for social development and self reliance is sufficient to be use as a bridge that links races and cultures as rightly said by Alh. Umaru Dikko. The education language is, and ought to be used for global harmony and the development of human potential for the benefit of man and his world, so we are using this medium to call on all the ethnicity and hate speeches peddlers to shealth their sword and allow peace to reign.
God bless the Federal Republic of Nigeria.
One people under God.
