
BUA group of companies to invest $500m in Katsina
The BUA group of companies has expresses to Katsina State their willingness to invest $500m in the state textile and garment cluster industry.
The deal when fully harnessed will provide 25,000 direct jobs to the Katsina people and help in creating other 600 small scale companies.
The company also requested for a 500 Hector of arable land in Funtua, Malumfashi, Kankara axis where they intend to start up the company.
In another news, The committee constituted by Governor Aminu Bello Masari to verify contracts and work under the Ministry of Education and Health, Science and Technical Board, State Universal Basic Education, Universal Basic Education commission, and the Sustainable Development Goals SDG’s.
The committee reported that over 700 number of projects were executed which gulp money to the tune of over N8billion.
