The 4 Key Political Actors That Impacted Mashi/Dutsi Bye-election

On 20th May 2017 Mashi/Dutsi constituents went to the polls to elect a new member that represents them in the National Assembly. Four people are on the ballot, two of them the frontrunners: the favored one by APC state gov’t Mansur Ali Mashi and his challenger Hon. Nazifi M. Yusuf of the great opposition party PDP.

Meanwhile, these are the key political actors that impacted Mashi/Dutsi Federal constituency by-election.

Governor Masari

The incumbent state governor Alhaji Aminu Bello Masari had played a key-role in determining the fate of the winning side. Tata

Being him an icon of Mashi politics, Alhaji Magiri brought his electoral ward to success by defeating APC 119 against PDP’s 105 votes. Not only had that, Alhaji Magiri also campaigned delightfully for PDP to rise once more.

Abdul Danja

The Chairman Umar Tata social media forum Abdul Danja who is also a renowned social media activist along-side with his aids had to observe the election to deprived of losing it credibility as promised by INEC. This social media colossus feeds masses with results outcome here and there at the polling units through posting on social media. He is also arrested by police with undisclosed reason in the cause of Mashi/Dutsi bye election’s struggle.
