JUST IN: Masari asks Katsina retired teachers to vacate staff quarters ‘immediately’

The Katsina State Governor, Alhaji Aminu Bello Masari has directed that all retired secondary school teachers still living in government quarters to vacate with immediate effect.

KATSINA POST learnt that Masari’s Senior Special Assistant on Media Abdu Labaran in a statement stated this in a statement he issued to newsmen in the state.

The Governor also dismissed the claim of some of the retired teachers still occupying official quarters of not being paid their gratuity as incorrect, declaring that “Katsina State Government is not indebted to any retired teacher as everyone has been paid their gratuity to the last kobo”.

He warned that anyone who refused to vacate the official residence they are living in would be ejected unceremoniously.
