REVEALED! The Man with the Highest Humanitarian Awards In Nigeria is “KATSINA INDIGENE”

In a rather amazing fashion, Katsina-born indigene from Malumfashi Local Government Area, Ambassador Ibrahim Sambo Magnet popularly known as Baya-Mai-Goya-Marayu has made history with another flood of awards in Arewa house, Kaduna. 

This is coming on the heels of local and international recognition which has come his way for his humanitarian benevolence.

Katsinapost.com  had exclusively report that Alhaji Ibrahim Sambo Magnet who is the president of the NGO “Ibrahim Magnet Foundation” on Saturday, 13th May, 2017, added to his growing list of national awards after being honored by 47 different Associations initiated by the National Association of Oduduwa Students (NAOS), at Arewa House Kaduna.

The ceremony which was witness by the people of high caliber amongst whom are Businessmen, Royal Fathers, Religious scholars, Traditional rulers, Academic colossus, Relatives, Students Associations, Members of the NGO’s, Family and friends.

While presenting the awards by NAOS, the president of the association stated that Alhaji Sambo Magnet has prominently participated in Nations building, community development, youth’s empowerment, National Integration, Societal development and assistance to the less privileges.

The president of the Association of Oduduwa Student also described Sambo as Amiable father, professional Icon, Astute administrator, national leader per excellence and philanthropist.

In his speech, the NAOS president further itemized some of the humanitarian achievements offered by the Ibrahim Magnet Foundation which includes;

  1. Provision of borehole portable water in rural and urban communities.
  2. Securing bail for more than 20 inmates of environmental related offences in his hometown Malumfashi Local Government.
  3. Securing bail for 25 inmates all southerners at Kirikiri Maximum prison on environmental related offences.
  4. Donation of car to armless Miss Shahida in Lapai local government area Niger state.
  5. Medical assistance to Hauwa Yusuf battling with rare muscle disorder.
  6. Also, medical assistance and sponsorship of baby Musa Murtala 2-year old boy who was severely brutalized by his step mother in Kano.

Flood of Humanitarian Awards received by Ibrahim Sambo Magnet

In a remarkable address, The CEO Air peace Airlines Chief Allen Onyema, described Sambo Magnet as true Nigerian; He said “Alhaji Magnet is a true Nigerian. This is one of the few awards I come to respect because this award transcends ethnicity. You can imagine a Nigeria today, the Yoruba’s coming together to honor someone from the north. This are the kinds of attitude and dispositions that will unite this country. So I have very much identify with the honors you received today is a worthy one.”

“When you look at Alhaji Sambo Magnet what he encourages is great humanity. Alhaji Magnet doesn’t know hausa. He doesn’t know Igbo, Alhaji Magnet doesn’t know Yoruba. He doesn’t know any tribe. He doesn’t discriminate religiously. Alhaji Magnet recognizes only one thing, GOD ALMIGHTY!”

“Alhaji Ibrahim Sambo Magnet is one Nigerian I respect so much. Alhaji Magnet doesn’t care about the size of your purse or Bank account. Alhaji Magnet respect everybody irrespective of who you are. This is the Kind of person you want to be associated with.” He said

In a similar speech by the vice president of Dangote Group PLC; Alhaji Sani Dangote said; these distinctive awards given to Ibrahim Magnet is instructive for his diligent excellence in philanthropy and other humanitarian services. According to him, “I believed this day is oden by God to come here and give our little contribution here. Because only last night I come back from Minna and met Chief Allen were he reminded me of this event which I had known for. I had to make sure I make up my challenges and come up  today. I am glad we are rejoicing with you for your celebration and award.”

Some of the dignitaries’ present include the Awardee, The president of Ibrahim Magnet Foundation, Ibrahim Sambo Magnet; His wife Hajiya Saude Sambo and Daughter Hajiya Fadila Sambo; CEO Air peace; Mr. Allen Onyema, Vice president Dangote group; Alhaji Sani Dangote, Professor Garba Shehu, Miss Lara,  Amb. Muhammad Rimi (Barden Zazzau), Alhaji Musa Muhammad (Kuyanbanan Zazzau), Makaman Zazzau, Representatives of the Interior Minister, Hajiya Sadiya Umar Faruk, SSA to Kano Governor on transport; Dr. Sani Garba, MD ICLlogistics; Alhaji Na’inna Aliyu, Micheal G.A , Alhaji Ummaru Aliyu and the president of NAOS amongst others.

After receiving the awards, Alhaji Sambo Magnet appreciated the initiators and the various Associations and organization for the honors given to him, saying the recognition will enable him work harder in the humanitarian philosophy and service to humanity.

 “I thank you all for the honors. May God Almighty grant us more effort to continue to chart the cause of humanitarian services. Because service to humanity is service to Almighty Allah.” Thank you All God bless you.

The highlights of the ceremony include; Entertainment by various Dancers and Musicians as well as introduction of some beneficiaries of the Magnet Foundation. The beneficiaries present includes;

  1. The baby Musa Murtala whom was mercilessly brutalized and broken by step mother that was now rehabilitated and sponsored by Sambo Magnet Foundation.
  2. The armless Shahida from Lapai Niger state whom benefitted with a car by the foundation
  3. Malama Hauwa Yusuf who suffers a rare muscle disorder and now sponsored for treatment in India worth N7000000 by the foundation.
  4. Faisal from Niger state whom was sponsored to read piloting at the United States by Magnet Foundation.
  5. A single Mother named blessing who was robbed by hoodlums and now compensated with N200, 000 by Ibrahim Magnet Foundation.
